Glee Star, Cory Monteith has checked himself into rehab. The star has been battling substance addiction for some time now, and was urged by his girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele to seek help.

Monteith’s rep says:

“[Monteith] has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”

Girlfriend, Lea Michele tweeted:

“Still so overwhelmed by all the love and well wishes we have received from you all.. my heart is so full.”

Glee fans everywhere are wishing him a speedy recovery, and we all hope to see him back on the screen soon!
