Cara Delevingne Feuds with Anchors in Awkward TV Interview

Not everyone is a fan of Cara Delevingne’s dry sense of humor.

While promoting her new flick “Paper Towns” on “Good Day Sacramento,” a trio of anchors blasted the leggy Brit over her bored demeanor in what may be Delevingne’s most cringeworthy interview yet. After co-anchor Marianne McClary introduces the 23-year-old model as “Carla,” she then quizzes the budding screen star about her preparation for the film.

“I never read the book or the script, actually, I just kind of winged it,” Delevingne deadpans before complimenting author John Green on his 2009 best-seller.

Though McClary & Co. initially laugh it off, tension continues to mount as Delevingne answers their questions more sarcastically. The “Good Day” team eventually reaches their limit, with McClary asking the “Suicide Squad” starlet if she’s irritated or if it’s just them.

“No, I think it’s just you,” a baffled Delevingne responds.

Before cutting the interview short, McClary suggests the actress “take a little nap, or maybe get a Red Bull,” as Delevingne’s split-screen quickly fades to black.

Cara Delevingne has fired back at breakfast TV show anchors who told her to 'go take a nap' in an extremely awkward interview.

The 22-year-old insisted that she was not 'in a mood', as the anchors claimed after the on-air chat, but rather they simply didn't understand her jokes.

'Some people just don't understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,' Cara tweeted on Wednesday in a clear response to the hard-to-watch interview.

Though the anchors continued to bash the sometime actress after the awkward Q&A concluded, it’s Delevingne who is laughing all the way to the bank.

Since its July 24 release, “Paper Towns” has already raked in $30 million worldwide.
